Good news! The URS Club will be opening back up Saturday June 6th.
Due to the guidelines necessary to be compliant with social distancing, we will be opening back up with heavy restrictions and we ask everyone for their help in keeping us compliant. These measures will be temporary as we open up in phases and we thank you for your patience. The URS Club will be open for recovery meetings only, there will be no social gatherings allowed on the property either inside our outside on the property. Each meeting can have a maximum of 25 people in attendance, anyone over 25 individuals will be respectfully asked to leave. Temporarily there will only be 5 meetings held throughout the day. The times of those meetings will be 6:30am (AA, downstairs), 12pm (AA, downstairs), 5:30pm (AA, downstairs), 7pm (AA, Spanish speaking, downstairs) and 9PM (NA, upstairs in the commons area). All will be required to wear masks so that everyone can feel comfortable coming to a meeting. Because of the guidelines, we are unable to serve coffee in the meetings, but the volunteers behind the counter will be selling coffee and snacks. We ask that if anyone has any symptoms such as fever or chills, cough, sore throat and congestion to stay away until their symptoms have gone away. Everyone will be required to maintain a distance of at least 6 feet from one another. It is of great importance to the URS Club that all of our guests are able to attend meetings as safely as possible under the current circumstances. If you have any questions, please contact us through our Facebook page.

PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR ONLINE RESOURCES TO ALLOW THE MESSAGE OF RECOVERY TO CARRY ON — “ONE DAY AT A TIME”By attending digital meetings, group members can focus on A.A.’s primary purpose: to carry its message of recovery to the alcoholic who still suffers. Many groups have alerted local A.A. offices or hotlines if they are temporarily not meeting in their regular physical space. Some groups have shared that they are utilizing digital platforms such as Zoom, Google Hangouts, or conducting conference calls.
To all of our friends in the recovery community: It is with deep gratitude and excitement that we announce the launch of a brand-new recovery resource library at http://recoveryspeakers.com - This new website is the result of nearly seven years of hard work digitizing old recordings and adding new ones to our database. The current library contains thousands of recovery talks, and we're adding more daily! This service is completely FREE and we encourage you to pass the link on to anyone who might benefit from this service. If you'd like to add our link to your site - please feel free . http://recoveryspeakers.com/ In Service, Tim W
